Brambles Glamping offers a unique and luxurious glamping experience in the beautiful countryside of Evesham, Worcestershire. Our unique accommodation provides the perfect blend of comfort and adventure for a truly memorable holiday. Glamping in Evesham
Brambles Glamping offers unique holiday accommodations located in the Parish of Wickhamford just outside the historic market town of Evesham and the foothills of the Cotswolds. Broadway being only a 10 minute drive away. From there you could catch the steam train through the Cotswolds to Cheltenham spa or use railway links from the Station in Evesham. Other local attractions are Stratford upon Avon, Worcester, Tewkesbury along with lots of local villages and the river Avon etc.
Brambles glamping is now Open with our first two units.
1 Yurt (Primrose) and 1 Pod (Coco). Over the next couple of years, the site will be expanding to 12 glamping units including additional yurts, tepee, pod, shepherd's hut, log cabin, motorhome/campervan and 3 hobbit houses.
The glamping pods are situated around a small young orchard of Apple, Pear, Cherry and Plum trees that we have planted. The site is situated in a rural farming setting surrounded by a farmed arable field, grazed grassland, orchards/greenhouses and the owner's property. Substantial planting of hedgerows and a woodland have taken place but not yet matured (over 3000 trees/saplings). There is lots of wildlife to see and hear at Brambles Glamping, including bats, buzzards, kestrels, barn owls, a parakeet, lots of native birds, foxes, badgers, rabbits and deer, though the later we try to discourage these as they are particularly partial to our freshly planted trees!
Brambles glamping is a completely off-grid glamping site, set in the grounds of our off-grid eco house that we have built in just under 4 acres of land. Our plan was to build a house that gave us the comforts of modern living whilst trying to be low impact and low cost. We are now hoping to use this experience whilst we build Brambles Glamping, offering luxury comfort with a sustainable and self sufficient site. Our ethos is to work in harmony with nature, to recycle, reuse and to be low impact.
Brambles Glamping makes its own electricity by Solar and a wind turbine for 99% of the year with a backup generator for a few days in the winter when there is no sun or wind (our record is 10 months with no generator back-up, so far!)
The water for the shower toilet block is heated from solar thermal panels, excess PV solar for most of the year and topped up when needed with an LPG boiler. All the water onsite is from rainwater harvesting, which is tested regularly and certified annually, rainwater gives us a beautifully soft water and means less soap is required. Showers are limited to 4 minutes of water flow, (in the ethos of glamping we suggest a camping style showering regime, wet/rinse, switch off the water and lather/shampoo, switch on the water and rinse and repeat as many times as you like in 4 minutes, of timed thermostatically controlled flowing water).
Our Glamping units combine the comforts of home with the excitement of outdoor adventure. Designed with comfort in mind as we ourselves are keen glampers! The Glamping Units are fully equipped with modern amenities - electric kettle, electric lighting, USB chargers, gas hob/grill, fridge , double bed, comfy seating both inside and out! BBQ and firepit all nestled in a serene natural setting, providing the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of city life. (Please note there are no additional plug sockets provided).
